(Carried over from issue/fix:\nhttp://support.web2project.net/questions/418/acl-error-roles-error-permissions-error.html ) That (link above) fixed the Roles, but now no Tasks are showing---anywhere... I've double checked Projects and Tasks for dates and ownership, etc., and made all new ones to test. The ONLY place I get Tasks to show is via Reports. Only then I can click thru and view/edit a Task. What did I do now? C

why don't you try this: http://support.web2project.net/questions/940/announce-stable-version-of-32pre.html In a new install, also in our dP upgrade (which was done a long time ago) this seems to work. I didn't retest the roles, but tasks definitely show, both in the new install and in our production database which has roles assigned and certain projects excluded from view for certain employees. The latter (projects excluded from access) does work, just retested it. Klaus

Still more observed... Lucky click on TASKS PER USER suddenly popped up all tasks.\nDoes not solve the issue at all, but thought to mention in case it helps identify the source of the issue. C PS. Perhaps dumb question, but the TASK list always has this box off to the right showing POSSIBLE ASSIGNEES and users listed. Can any answer how that ditty is intended to be used, and can I hide it (as the list of users grows, it makes it impossible to view Tasks efficiently)?
