Just my twopence,

upgraded my ISP web server to PHP 7 (7.0.14), made just the two corrections mentioned by caseydk and verified it works without a hick, at least the way we use web2project (we do not use all modules).

It don't help, and if I use php version >=5.6.19 in task page tabs don't work (only first tab opens), I thought that was mysql problem, but I was wrong it's php problem.

These errors are absolutely differnet. WARNING: PHP may not be compiled with MySQL support. This will prevent proper operation of web2Project. Please check you system setup. It's not because of this file, it's because php7 don't have adodb extension.

the other question is called mysql support not available. That sounds similiar, and they report on missing adodb. You can also look under the forum tag mysql. Not sure whether sasquatch's solution would be acceptable.

This error message arises because function mysql_pconnect may not be available in the w2p installation. This was removed in php 7. There's no reference to its use in w2p other than the error messages. One could safely ignore this. FYI, I did a full replacement of the adodb libraries with latest available in my test version of w2p today with no operational issues. I'm still chasing a niggly issue around gantt display with latest jpgraph. Cheers, Sasquatch

Hello Sasquatch, if you have anything I should put into 3.4 pre please let me know.\n'Never change a running system', but if it helps compatibility with php 7 and also works in php 5, then we can add it. Thanks, Klaus
