This problem has been solved here: http://support.web2project.net/questions/1994/assigned-users-not-showing-on-task-view.html Please read all answers, because there are two points that you should change: - The first one really solves the problem (green one)\n- The second provides a workaround in case there is no email available. The two changes have not been included in the main version, as far as I can see. If the solution does not work, please let me know...

Thanks for your reply. That solved the problem and now I can see Assignees in the list. But when I try to login with a new user which I created with permission to view/add/edit tasks and also permission to view files but I can only see Files module and no task module. Please help.![alt text][1] Thanksalt text [1]: /storage/temp/321-sc-webproject-newuser.png

As a rule, for your second question, you should create another question and not continue this one, as this concerns something different than the first question. It will help other users find answers in a consistent way. Anyway, your problem can be solved easily, by reading this article: http://web2project.net/2012/06/web2project-permissions-crash-course/ You need to give the user access to specific companies as well. The permissions in w2p are like a tree:\ncompany - project - task - etc...
