Hi, I've just installed V.3.3.66 (coming from 1.3.0). I'm just doing some quick testing, but here is what I have found : - the delete project button does not work any more - when entering a task the default duration remains 1 hours (it use to adapt to the lenght of the task ie 1 day would make 8hours and 3 days would make 24hous...) > It this a bug? > Many thanks.

Hi, In a clean install (no upgrade), the \"Delete Project\" button works fine. ![alt text][1]When you add a task, in the \"Dates\" tab, you can see two buttons: \"Duration\" and \"Finish Date\". What they do is this: - If you fill the two dates, press \"Duration\" and the duration is calculated. - If you fill the start date and the Expected Duration, press \"Finish Date\" and the Finish Date is calculated. See the attached screenshot. I guess, your problem has to do with the upgrade. Were I you, I would make a clean install and try to move the data from the original database to the new database. It is a task with many trials and errors, but I see no other sure way.\nYou can export ALL the data in one .sql file, delete the table definition commands and focus on the data commands and change them to fit the new structure, if different. I hope I have helped, Themoulos [1]: /storage/temp/301-screenshot-2016-01-11-231326.png

I am not sure the clean install would help - it might not catch all updates, or the code or database definitions might be too different? I probably would go by intermediate versions, as there have been many changes between 1.x, 2.y and 3.3.66. So try to go to some version of 2 first, then upgrade to 3. Klaus

As far as I can see it, the only problem with the update is to move the data from the old database format to the new format. Your suggestion is very reasonable: there is a tested and sure way from one major version to its next, so, it is better to go from 1.X to 2.X, check the first step transition and then move from 2.X to 3.X. and check again.nAnyway, limei, let us know the result of your efforts.

Well, I did a clean install (no more using the old database). So I have a brand clean new interface with V3.3.66 and after creating the first test project, I just can't delete it. I have done the install twice from scratch to be sure... So I was wondering if it was a bug? The only other explaination I have is that I some CGI requirement not matched at the install (sorry for my English). I can erase projects in PhpMyadmin

Hi, Thank you for all the comments. I also tested a clean install of V.3.2 and another of V.3.1. I have apparently something wrong in my configuration as the install test would give me this alert: \"Service API : Failed CGI modi is likely to have problems\". But when I ignore this and continue the istallation, it goes \"fine\". The delete button does not work for me in V3.2 but it works with V.3.1\nIs there a obvious setting I could change with the server? I'm not sure, since I'm hosted... Many thanks to you nevertheless.
