Hi, with new 3.2, i got some overlapping rows at the gantt. Task name and duration for example.\nsee attached picture. i solved it with modifying line 176: $columnSizes = array(200, 50, 80, 80); at /modules/tasks/gantt.php. Same thing at /modules/projects/gantt.php. I changed it from 200 to 350 and it works fine for me.\nBut i'm not sure, if it works for all gantt charts. Next issue is that the gantt chart should use the entire width of the browser window. Currently it looks like, that it's fixed to a number of pixels. Maybe, somebody can change it in a new revision to use the entire width of the browser size. best regards,\nOliver ![alt text][1] [1]: /storage/temp/193-web2project_overlapping_gantt.png

I believe this display defaults to 95% of the browser window width. Having the borders makes it more readable so I'm hesitant to change it without a compelling reason. Is the best option to make the column width adjustable via the admin or similar?

display abbreviated name? for the dokuwiki addon, if name is too long, I do something like start of name(40) .. end of name(30) indicating the substring length in the ()

Hi Casey, it's not fixed to 95% of the browser window. For example, i have a Monitor with 2560pixel width. At my Monitor after maximizing the browser, it looks like 50 to 60% of the browser width. (most cases of gantt charts) just in /modules/projectdesigner/vw_gantt.php it'S set to 95% (line 16) in my case, i made following changes (just for example: /modules/tasks/gantt.php):\nline 97: $width = min(w2PgetParam($_GET, 'width', 600), 4000); (changed to 4000)\nline 176: $columnSizes = array(350, 50, 80, 80); (changed to 350)\nline 237: $name = ((mb_strlen($name) > 45) ? (mb_substr($name, 0, 40) . '...') : $name); with this changes, everything works fine for me. i got more space in the Task column and got more Information displayed with increasing the stringlength. I tested it with a couple of Monitors(1280x1024, 2560x1600, 1440x900, ...) in my Company and at all Monitor sizes, i got no errors. gantt Chart was always displayed. But i'm not sure, if my changes are correct particulary line 97 in Terms of generating correct code, i'm not a software engineer and have no experience with php. best regards,\nOliver

You are correct. The image is assigned to take 95% of the space, but it doesn't change the actual width of the image. I'm not sure what the best approach is.. maybe we detect the browser size and pass that into the image generation?
