Has anyone had any luck with the html tag options for the custom project fields? I have so many project custom fields, they take up my entire screen when listed one after the other. I would like to be able to use tabs or columns to organize my ProjectView page, but haven't been able to figure out the html tags. I have had limited success with using bold if I enter the html tag options directly in the database (versus the web2project custom field setup).

The only thing you can add via that screen are html attributes, so the ideal approach is to add a class that applies bolding, etc. In terms of laying out all the Custom Fields, these are simple paragraph tags with a label for the field name. I would suggest some creative CSS but I'm not the one who can write it. Alternatively, does it make sense to have that many Custom Fields? Is there another approach that might make sense.. like a new Add On module?

a custom module can create a new tab in te project view screen. so you would still have all your fields in the project view context

Thank you for the feedback. Absolutely... I believe the custom module is the best solution. The ability to have have separate tab(s) in the project view screen displaying these fields would be ideal. I'm not clever enough (as of yet anyway) to figure out how to implement it. I guess its time for me to dive in! Thank you both for all your work and generosity.

after you create the page, it needs a special name (something like yourmodule_view_projects.php. It is not exactly this but it should give an idea). Then, w2p recognises to put it in a tab in projects. look, for example, at the todo module (download from keith's git)

Thank you for pointing me to the todo module...this looks small enough that I might be able to figure out how it works so I can create my own.
