I am unsuccessfully trying to change the company on an existing project in v 3.1.0. I'm not getting any errors, my changes are just not saved. I'm logged on using an account with the admin role and permissions to allow access, view, add, edit and delete to all modules and even tried setting up the same permissions for projects to no avail. I've tried moving all tasks to a different project, but the problem persists. Is this possible? Thanks

It should be possible. Are you getting any messages in the error logs?

Sorry for the late response. Yes, I'm getting a PHP warning error: "Incorrect decimal value: '' for column 'project_target_budget' at row 1. Can't find where to change the budget for the project to test.nThanks

modules/projects/projects.class.php find line 'public $project_target_budget = null;'\nreplace 'public $project_target_budget = 0.00;' maybe it's not 100% correct solution, but it works.

This is the correct approach. This issue comes up due to the configuration of the database. Most configurations will automatically convert null to zero silently behind the scenes.. while a few configurations will just reject the query without an error message. Fun, huh?

you could try my stable 3.2pre version (see announcements subforum), that can change companies (just tested)

I upgraded to 3.2.90 and was still not able to edit existing projects, same error as before, until changing the following line (line 401) in projects.class.php as posted by silent_ninja1 in [this][1] thread $this->project_target_budget = 0.0;// = filterCurrency($this->project_target_budget); This breaks our ability to track budgets, but we are able to modify projects. I don't know yet what else this may impact. Is this on the radar to fix? Thanks [1]: http://support.web2project.net/questions/1532/cant-upload-msp-file.html
